About the conference:
The Science of Addressing Addictive Behavior
NJAMHAA is hosting its annual spring conference, offering continuing education workshops to attendees.
Representatives from GoMo Health will educate the audience on lessons learned from the Recovery Pathways program about the science behind substance use disorder. Outcomes and data will be shared to show how technology and multiple access to touchpoints with end userss result in higher completion rates in treatment, lower recidivism, and higher resiliency.
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify behaviors that have turned into addiction in daily habits like gaming, the Internet, working, etc.
- Explain how to move beyond standard treatment to reinforce and extend a care plan to be present in a person’s daily life when weaning off an addictive behavior.
