From Memory Concerns to Action: Supporting Earlier Conversations About Brain Health
The GoMo Health Memory and Thinking program helps adults aged 60 and older recognize potential signs of cognitive decline and feel more confident discussing concerns with their care teams. Through personalized text messages, educational resources, and secure messaging, the program explains the differences between normal aging and cognitive changes while encouraging earlier evaluation and treatment. By connecting education with practical support, the program helps participants take the next step: 83% reported talking with their doctor about memory and thinking concerns.

Program Components
Care Communications:
Upon enrollment, participants receive text messages that communicate, promote, and support throughout their healthcare journey. Some messages contain links to online pages with additional educational information in the form of interactive surveys, videos, and other resources. Topics include healthy aging, memory concerns, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle management, and preparing for conversations with healthcare providers.
Care Companion:
This cloud-based learning management system provides vetted educational content that is personalized by participants' self-expressed priorities and interests, structured into easy-to-follow sections to promote independent education, learning, and self-management.
GoMo (Secure) Chat:
Much like a typical text conversation, GoMo Chat allows secure messaging between participants and their care team, enabling in-the-moment, on-demand conversations.
Secure Data Collection and Reporting:
Engagement and experience data are deidentified, analyzed, and reported back to the organization for ongoing quality improvement and program optimization.
