From Acute Pain to Informed Action: Building Knowledge and Confidence
The GoMo Health Acute Pain Education program helps adults experiencing pain before and after surgery, or from non-surgical causes, better understand their treatment options and take an active role in their care. Through personalized text messages, clinically validated educational resources, and interactive surveys, the program builds awareness of non-opioid alternatives and confidence in communicating with healthcare providers. By connecting education with practical guidance, the program encourages action: 89% of participants scheduled or attended a healthcare provider appointment, and 81% reported greater confidence advocating for their needs.
