Biography
Dr. Steve Lazoritz is widely recognized for his firm commitment to the multidisciplinary approach to the identification, investigation, and treatment of child abuse, making him a sought-after speaker for law enforcement, prosecutors, child protective services, and medical audiences. He holds appointments as Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Creighton University School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is the co-author of three books on child welfare history.
He is board certified in pediatrics and as a certified physician executive, with more than 11 years of U.S. military service.
