Introduces First Patent Pending HIPAA Compliant SMS-based Patient Engagement System

Clark, NJ  – November 5, 2013 – Gold Mobile (GoMo Health™), a leading provider of Mobile (SMS-based) Patient Engagement Healthcare Solutions and Rockefeller Group Technology Solutions, Inc. (RGTS) a leader provider of voice, data and cable communications technology solutions, announces a joint collaboration to participate in the RGTS Mobile Healthcare Technology Roadshow. The exclusive invitation-only roadshow will bring leading mobile healthcare solution providers to hospitals in the tri-state area, delivering presentations and demonstrations of selected solutions.

RGTS is launching the first Mobile Healthcare Technology Roadshow of its kind, to bring multiple mobile solutions to hospitals in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area. The GoMo Health platform will be among the solutions being showcased because it provides hospitals and healthcare plans, including new MCO’s and ACO’s, with the ability to engage virtually 100% of their patients, without the need to own a smartphone or download a mobile application. Because of the Affordable Care Act and the sizable Medicaid population, the GoMo Health platform has been widely adopted by healthcare plans and Assurance Wireless customers in the tri-state area.

“Our Mobile Healthcare Technology Roadshow was designed to help reduce the confusion generated by the many mobile healthcare solutions on the market today, said Alan Stern, Director of Business Development and Strategic Alliances for RGTS, “We feel that driving an on-site event that delivers a pre-selected group of live demonstrations and presentations can be instrumental in empowering CIO’s and CTO’s to make more educated decisions.”

GoMo Health empowers case workers, discharge nurses, billing administrators and other health care professionals to engage patients in real-time – to help manage compliance and adherence to  a recommended care plan.  Allowing two-way and secure, HIPAA compliant patient engagement helps to reduce hospital re-admissions, unnecessary ER treatment, and improves caregiver and family awareness.

“Discharge and Reimbursement rules and HEDIS scores for government reimbursement for Medicaid and Medicare and other state funded plans are undergoing substantial change that includes pay for performance. GoMo Health is an ideal platform to engage and educate patients throughout their day, in order to practice preventative medicine and reduce readmission,” said Bob Gold, CEO of Gold Mobile, “plus it enables nurses and case workers to have a “digital” assistant that can affect positive outcomes and audit trail, while reducing costs”.
