ViaCord and their partner OB/GYN practices aim to provide support and education for their patients, women who are pregnant.
ViaCord is a leading provider of newborn cord blood banking services. ViaCord works with OB/GYN practices nationally to help educate expecting mothers about the option and potential benefits of saving their newborn’s cord blood following birth.
Utilizing GoMo Health Personal Concierge™, ViaCord’s Prenatal Health Program is designed to provide educational messaging on behalf of the OB/GYN practice, on general pregnancy topics as well as cord blood banking. Weekly text messages sent to the patient are relevant to the week of pregnancy and are designed to help patients feel at ease and supported through their pregnancy journey.
GoMo Health leveraged its proprietary emerging science, BehavioralRx™, the science of patient engagement, to build the program and determine the engagement strategy, approach and content delivered. The following behavioral and cognitive techniques were applied:
- Suggestion Technology: Intervening at the right time
- Conditioning Technology: Reinforcing target behavior
- Reduction Technology: Persuading through simplifying
- Tailoring Technology: Persuasion through customization
Interested patients complete a basic survey that includes their due date. After completing the survey, expectant mothers will receive content related to their pregnancy journey. Patients receive one care message per week during the length of their pregnancy. Some messages drive to mobile web pages that provide information in more detail. All content is educational in nature, with topics including nutrition, baby development, exercise, and cord blood banking.
ViaCord is passionate about helping families live healthier lives. The very core of everything we do starts with the Mom and we applaud the strength and vitality in which Moms protect and nurture their family’s health and safety. We are happy to be partnering with GoMo Health to enhance our value to Moms, their families, and the hardworking OBGYN providers across the countryKevin Cunningham
