Shining a Light on The Longest Day: GoMo Health and Sourcewise Support Caregivers and Early Memory Care

By |Published On: June 18th, 2025|

Every year on June 20, people around the world recognize The Longest Day, an awareness campaign created by the Alzheimer’s Association to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The date marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and symbolizes the challenging journey that caregivers and individuals facing memory loss endure daily.

Sourcewise and GoMo Health are proud to stand in support of The Longest Day, reaffirming our shared commitment to advancing early detection, increasing support for individuals experiencing memory decline, and empowering caregivers with the resources they need to navigate the journey ahead.

Early memory decline can often go unnoticed or be misunderstood, leading to delayed diagnosis and increased burden on families. Through proactive outreach and accessible digital engagement, Sourcewise and GoMo Health are working together to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and help families take action sooner.

Together, we recognize that early detection and intervention can dramatically improve quality of life for individuals and caregivers. When the right support is delivered at the right time, both caregivers and those experiencing memory decline are better equipped to manage the emotional, physical, and logistical challenges of care.

For both Sourcewise and GoMo Health, supporting The Longest Day is more than a symbolic gesture — it’s a call to action. We believe that raising awareness, delivering practical support, and empowering caregivers must be a daily mission. This June 20, and every day, we honor the committment of caregivers and the importance of taking action early to address memory care concerns. Together, we continue to build systems of support that promote dignity, compassion, and resilience for all those impacted by cognitive impairment.
