Concierge Day Demonstrates Powerful Results at Pascack Valley Medical Center

On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, GoMo Health and HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley celebrated our first Concierge Day event together.

Staff, colleagues, and partners gathered together for an interactive event and luncheon to learn more about the hospital’s Bedside Concierge programs, designed to make each patient’s stay as comfortable as it can be.  Attendees learned about the wonderful services available to patients during their stay in the hospital.

HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley, an affiliate of Hackensack Meridian Health, is the first hospital in the country to introduce the award-winning GoMo Health Concierge Care® Inpatient Satisfaction solution for Emergency Room patients and their families. Our Inpatient Satisfaction solution is a communications pathway that enables patients to direct requests for their non-clinical needs — including while-you-wait complimentary reading materials from a news cart, requests for clergy or access to electronic medical records, or to schedule UBER transportation home following an inpatient stay – to the departments that can service them quickly, efficiently and directly, enhancing the overall patient experience.

The addition of the award-winning Concierge Care Inpatient satisfaction solution to HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley’s service offerings is a direct result of the program’s success in its hospital-wide deployment, first launched in November 2015.  The nationally recognized solution has yielded HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley several awards, including:
