Full Bio

Alex Guerrero is a trauma surgeon based in New York City. He is the founder of InterTrauma Consulting, a virtual department of surgery providing clinical and consultative services to several Trauma Centers and Burn Units in the US. In addition to being an experienced clinician and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Alex is also the principal investigator on several large, population-based injury research projects in Africa. He co-founded the Trauma Ready financial consulting group to help Trauma Centers increase their charge capture and improve quality and developed the VIZR Wear system for wearable cognitive assistance, used by surgeons to adhere to best practices during chaotic situations.
