As GoMo Health’s Population Health Lifestyle Communications Expert, Shelley provides a 5-star concierge perspective to the patient journey throughout the continuum of care, with an eye on elevating the complete experience for patients, caregivers and clinical care providers.

Healthcare is more than a system of needs meeting resources. Powered by human beings – providers who want to experience joy in the practice of medicine, patients who need to be cared for by others and empowered to care for themselves, and caregivers who want the security of knowing they have the resources they need to provide care to others. Integrating these desires with people’s emotional needs to feel special, nurtured, cared for and attended to enables healthcare providers to be better equipped to offer clinical care to patients, and still have their desires met.  Shelley has helped create a new perspective within the healthcare delivery model that elevates the patient/provider encounter to a 5-star hospitality experience.

For more than 20 years, Shelley has developed and brought hospitality principles to healthcare and now is the co-creator of BehavioralRx™, The Science of Population Health. Shelley raises the bar for innovation in the communications and interactions weaved into clinical care delivery, relationships, program development, health and wellness education and engagement, physician relations, and communications.

Shelley focuses her energy on strategizing a “better way” for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, patients, and consumers within hospitals, health systems, health plans, pharmaceutical companies, and governments. In 2020, Shelley was designated as a member of the Seton Hall University Customer Experience Advisory Board.

Since joining GoMo Health in 2014, Shelley’s concierge methods and guiding principles have directly affected health outcomes, reduced cost of care coordination, and readmissions for all stakeholders across dozens of health organizations.
