Promoting better prenatal health through text messaging in a remote setting
A GoMo Health Prenatal Personal Concierge™ support program was launched as a resource for pregnant women who visit the Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu for their prenatal care; The program was designed to educate and support them in a remote care setting.

Our Goal
Provide consistent remote care management, support, content
and resources to Kenyan women.
GoMo Health leveraged its proprietary emerging science, BehavioralRx, the science of precision health, to build the program and determine the engagement strategy, approach and content delivered.
The following behavioral and cognitive techniques were applied:

Pregnancy tips and resources delivered by text message
Personal Concierge delivers 2-3 Care Messages™ per week via text message for the duration of a pregnancy. The messages are educational, offering tips and guidance to pregnant women to manage their own health care and the health and wellness of their family.
Stratifying patients during enrollment to deliver personalized content
At the start of their participation, patients enter their due date and the program automatically calculates the week of their pregnancy, with trimester-relevant content sent to support the mother-to-be based on where she is in her gestation.
In a survey of women actively participating in the Prenatal Personal Concierge™ program, soon-to-be moms shared:
Preterm Births
1 of the 167 participants, or less than 1%, had a preterm birth compared to the 12% national average.
Resiliency
100% of program participants confirmed that the concierge program helped them better manage health and pregnancy.
Satisfaction
100% of program participants would recommend the program to a friend.
Activation
77% of program participants want to continue the program postpartum.
